Student Registration and Travel Grants

Registration Grant for students studying in Indian universities

The Association for Logic in India (ALI) has made available registration support grants for students studying in Indian universities/institutions to attend the SAT-2024 conference and associated school and workshops. The grant is capped at Rs. 4000/- per student and will be given as reimbursement to selected applicants post the conference.

To apply for the registration grant, please fill up this form and submit by July 26 July 31, 2024 AoE. You will be notified of the decision about your application by August 07, 2024, AoE. Selected students will be required to fill up a reimbursement claim along with all supporting documentation after returning from the conference. Disbursal of the reimbursement claim can take upto 6 weeks after receipt of the claim.

Preference for registration grants will be given to women and third gender students, students from under-represented sections of society and under-represented geographical regions, and students without access to institutional funds for conference registration.

Travel Grant for students traveling from within India

ACM India has made available travel support grants for students studying in Indian universities/institutions to attend the SAT-2024 conference and associated school and workshops. The grant is capped at Rs. 5000/- per student and will be given as reimbursement to selected applicants post the conference.

To apply for the travel grant, please fill up this form and submit by July 26 July 31, 2024 AoE. You will be notified of the decision about your application by August 07, 2024, AoE. Selected students will be required to fill up a reimbursement claim along with all supporting documentation after returning from the conference. Disbursal of the reimbursement claim can take upto 6 weeks after receipt of the claim.

Travel Grant for students traveling from outside India

The SAT Association offers travel support for PhD students with an affiliation outside India to attend the SAT-2024 conference in Pune. To apply for the travel support, please send an email to the Treasurer of the SAT Association, Dr Stefan Mengel at mengel@cril-lab.fr.

The email should contain:

Travel support is limited and will be granted up to an amount of approx. 800 Euro per application.

Please send your application by June 20, 2024 AoE at the latest. Notification will be shortly thereafter.
